Skabrot and Groovy Nations to play at French festival A l'Ére Libre!

The students of a French Engineering school "ESSTIN" based in Nancy are organizing the 4th edition of the "A l'ère libre" Festival on December 13th, 2013 at L'autre Canal in Nancy.

The event will focus on the free culture movement and will be opened to anyone through keynotes, debates, and most importantly a big music night with 2 Jamendo bands: Skabrot (Germany) and Groovy Nations (France).

SKABROT (Ska/Punk, Germany)

Powerful ska with punk rock influences mixed with reggae and funk, here is theastonishing musical mix of Skabrot, from Germany. A groovy bass, horn, drums and guitars build the foundation of a music with no boundaries and one single goal : To move people by making them dance and think.

GROOVY NATIONS (Soul/Reggae/Funk, France)

From various backgrounds, the ten members of Groovy Nations chose their name wisely : “Groovy” for the groove they try to put everyday in the music they share with their fans to make it festive and rhythmic. “Nations” to underline their desire to fusion musical genres and languages but also to unite the world through a universal language, Music!
