Come to the Qwartz concert in Paris on 2 April
We are pleased to announce the Opening Evening of the 5th Qwartz Awards will take place under the Niemeyer Dome on Thursday, 2 April.

You might or might not know that Qwartz is an international competition open to artists and labels involved in electronic and experimental music. Each year, prizes are awarded to artists in the avant-garde of digital culture. Qwartz is a partner of jamendo.
During the concert in Paris, the Brasilian pianist Otavio Henrique Soares Brandao, who received a Qwartz Award two years ago, will perform, as well as the American experimental duo Post Piano, namely the honorary president of Qwartz Taylor Deupree and the composer Kenneth Kirschner.

This prestigious venue was designed by famed architect Oscar Niemeyer and is located at the French Communist Party’s headquarters! The evening is placed under the patronage of Creative Commons, featuring three artists who publish their works under CC.
It will introduce the bestowal of an honorary Qwartz Award to Lawrence Lessig, creator of CC, the next day at the Cirque d’Hiver, another prestigious Parisian venue, where the 5th Qwartz Awards ceremony will take place.
Doors open: 7.15 p.m.
Concert starts: 8.p.m.
