Maybe you read it first on the blog of our friends at Dailymotion: they have publicly launched their “Audio Remix” module, preloaded with several Jamendo tracks!

After having set up a tool for filtering copyrighted soundtracks, Dailymotion now offers its users the option to swap the audio of their videos with Creative Commons tracks from Jamendo, to give them a way to publish the filtered video.

Their “Audio Remix” tool is a simple way to perform this operation, as you can see in this screenshot:

The tool went live a few days ago, and from the first statistics we have, popular tracks include:

CARTEL : The Best, Whoa whoa, Elevate

VAVREK

FOXAPET

THE JAMES QUINTET

Currently only the tracks under CC-BY, CC-BY-SA, and LAL licenses are available to the users of Dailymotion, but soon every artist will be able to register to this program in its administration panel on Jamendo.

We are really proud of this partnership, because it will make Dailymotion a more legal platform while giving some great exposure to our artists!
