As announced in January, Jamendo now shares 50% of its advertising revenue with the artists.

The revenue split for January was done today as we received the money from our advertisers: 946.42€ were shared. The most popular artists earned about 40€.

While these numbers are not very high (yet), we feel the transparency of our deal with the artists is really important.

Remember, if you want to help an artist you like and make him earn more, share its music on your blog with our widgets or recommend it to your friends!
