A lot of work has been done since we opened the new translation interface a couple of weeks ago. Today, we are extremely pleased to announce the release of Polish and Italian as official Jamendo languages!

What does this mean?

• Users coming from Poland or Italy will be automatically browsing Jamendo in their native language.
• The Italian and Polish flags are now visible in the top right corner of the website
• Both translation have been tested against syntax errors and should offer a seamless user experience. However, everybody can still fix some transations with our interface from the Community page.
• There are now 130 million more people able to browse jamendo in their native language, which brings us to a total of approximately 1.4 billion!

Thanks to the Polish and Italian translation teams for their efforts. We are looking forward to having thriving communities in these countries!

In other translation news, we have been contacted by Esperanto, Greek and Ukrainian volunteers who will begin translating soon : expect many more new language releases in the near future!
