Coming soon : New popup player / sound on Linux with Flash6+
This is the CTO speaking!
I recently switched (again) my development desktop from Win32 to Kubuntu+Fedora and like some of you I was annoyed with Linux not being able to use the built-in jamendo.com player which requires Flash8+. So I spent the last few hours hacking around with Flash6+ solutions and some minutes ago, it just worked out ;-)
Bottom line : expect Linux compatibility soon for the player, plus the new pop-up mode for everyone which will add TONS of new playlist features. More on it later!

Great! As a GNU/Linux user I’m glad that I can use the flash player… specially if it’s on a pop up window so I can keep surfing the web!
Thanks a lot and congratulations!!

Dang, it’s good to see a site taking care of its Linux users! Rock on.
Any chance you could add sort by license at some point? I’ve been trying to find music for a podcast that will technically be commerical, and it’d be extra-spiffy if I could sort albums by license.
